Duxford practice display

Unusual three ship display team today....
I'd never have thought the black and yellow crop duster was based on a Chipmunk!!!
G-AOTF is a Farm Aviation Mk23 single seat crop-spraying conversion from a T.10 and was also used as a target tug...

 

Duxford Sunday

The news that Spitfire T8 MT818/G-AIDN was operating with Classic Wings at Duxford this weekend resulted in a dash down the M11 (or crawl more like with the weekend lane closures!) to nab a few pics of the progenitor of the two seat Spitfires...
I had only seen this special aircraft previously while visiting BHHH and it was hidden in the corner undergoing servicing. Now to try and see BS410 and ML295!
RW382 was towed out and parked up prior to going flying.

Rebrand...

 The Stephenson Hangar has had a change of name...

"Here Be Dragons" and other fire breathing things...

Still on the search for new two seat Spitfires (ML295, BS410) operating at Duxford a quick trip on Saturday to see what was there....
