Sad farewell...🐾 Having joined the 'crew' in 2010, it is with a heavy heart that we had to bid farewell to our wonderful Maya today. When she came onboard we could not have wished for a happier, friendlier dog whose tail was constantly wagging. She loved water and at times I was convinced she was part Otter.

..you never get long enough with them, so sad. Sorry for your loss. A few years ago we still had four of our rescues, now down to just one 12 yr old Frenchie
ReplyDeleteThanks. Someone once said that dogs are only with us for a part of our lives but we are with them for the the whole of theirs. I think we gave her a good 15½ years. Our 7 year old Lab boy will help soften the loss. 🐾
ReplyDeleteYou have my sympathy Bob.I'm not really a dog person but we lost a rescue cat last year and I found that tougher than expected so I know where you are coming from ☹️
