  2. When you look around, things are expensive food wise in this Country and to be fair what ever your taste or pocket, you can feed your face within your limits if you think what you are doing. Shop about and nobody say's you have to have a meal at either DX food outlets. Loads of nearby places to get some reasonable-priced food if you look and shop about.

  3. Plenty feel the need to criticise the new menu and pricing. There are other options of course, bring your own or even nip to the BP fuel station are just two... The new system in Workshop Joe's put one regular off eating in there. Wait to be seated, then go to the servery and place your order, pay then go back to your table and wait for your food. Seems a very "labour intensive" process and how long will you have to wait during really busy times? It was bad enough before - I cannot see this new system speeding things up. Visitors will decide if the new eateries are worth it.
Me? I've found somewhere a lot more relaxing to eat my lunch…

My pictorial joke about "The Armoury" being renamed "The Clamoury" (clamour, noun; loud persistent noise, especially made by people's voices) was based on the levels of noise in the refurbished restaurant after the refit had ripped out all the ceilings, used hard metal furnishings and painted it to resemble a Soviet era East German factory canteen...

    1. Oh dear, looks like breakfast at Cambridge Services then when I visit in September. Like you say, time will tell of it's success or epic failure.
