Er, will you have enough funds to dine in Col Joe's workshop 'thingy' on Friday ? or are you there Sat/Sun with one of those 'offical person' yellow vests on ?
Not able to do "Fly-in Friday" but there on Saturday as a spectator, working Sunday on flight line with yellow bib…
Take your coat Saturday, sounds like a bit of the 'wet' stuff until after lunch. Enjoy the weekend and all it brings.
May be giving Saturday a miss after seeing the forecast!!!If "Unknown" is the "Painter Man", I started watching an Air Ministry film yesterday, from the late 40's/1950, about the importance of good paint finishes on RAF aircraft….
It's 'The Purist' and its coming up as 'anonymous' because I've come away/deleted all my blogs due to hacking and it included me getting rid of 'Blogger'and that is maybe why its coming up as anonymous and I got rid of Google plus also.
Is it available to purchase via the IWM ?Regards, 'The Purist'/Painter man'.
Only watched one reel (out of 3) so not sure if it is worth 'buying'. Probably won't ever see the inside of the IWM shop - you'd have to request a digital copy of it and buy it that way.
Well that's fair enough, I cannot complain about that, at least we 'Joe Public' get the chance to have a crack at obtaining a copy. Now I've walked away from running after warbirds, I've now taken to watching all these DVDs I've bought over the years. Of course when I first started collecting videos off the stalls, I like most had no idea this thing called the internet was going to make loads of stuff available to everyone.TP.
